The Maréchal Foch Foundation which created and built Foch Hospital in 1937 from private funds has, since 1999, set up fundraising activities intended to improve and modernize its hospital, which is a private hospital contributing to the public service.
The Foundation provides significant support for work to improve the premises, purchase equipment and start new activities.
As a recognised public utility the Foundation can be helped in different tax deductable ways.
A legacy is a gift made by testament. It can be all of your estate (universal legacy), or simply a sum of money or material gift (specific legacy). You keep the use of the asset concerned.
Please contact a notary of your choice directly or contact the Foundation who will put you in contact with a notary.
Life assurance is more than a savings product taken out with an insurance company, the post office or a bank. It is a way of transferring inheritance on death, at the same time keeping free access to the savings during life. You can nominate one or more beneficiaries, who will then receive these funds without inheritance tax. The Foch Foundation can be nominated as a beneficiary of a life insurance contract either completely or partially in first or second position.
A donation involves a person transferring irrevocably during his or her life the rights or ownership to a personal transferable asset or property to another person. All donations must be made through a notarized procedure. All donations are completely exempt from asset transfer tax for associations and foundations which are recognised public utilities such as the Foch Foundation.
