Life insurance is more than a savings product taken out with an insurance company or a bank. It is a way of transferring inheritance on death, at the same time keeping free access to the savings during life. You can nominate one or more beneficiaries, who will then receive these funds without paying inheritance tax. The Foch Foundation can be nominated as a beneficiary of a life-insurance contract either completely or partially, in first or second position.
A donation involves a person irrevocably transferring the rights or ownership to a personal transferable asset or property to another person during his or her life. All donations must be made through a notarized procedure. All donations are completely exempt from asset transfer tax for state-approved associations and foundations, such as the Foch Foundation.
