Since 1999, the Maréchal Foch Foundation has carried out fundraising activities intended to improve and modernize its hospital. This provides Foch hospital, a private hospital contributing to the public hospital service, with significant support to carry out its projects. As a recognised public utility since 1929, the Foundation can be helped in different ways, which are described on the last page of the Foch Info magazine with description of the current tax benefits.

The ways of soliciting donations and how they are managed are carried out by the Foundation’s own resources. The Foundation’s accounts are created following the standing orders governing its activity under the supervision of the accounts commissioner, KPMG. The funds raised are paid to the hospital when it incurs the corresponding expenditure.
In 2006, the Foundation raised gifts of 883,000 €, which were broken down as follows:

The Foundation also paid 95,000 € in assistance to different hospital departments, 42,000 € of which were funds committed previously.
The Foundation and Hospital are very dependent on regular donor support which helps to ensure that patients have a health care of high quality. The Foundation naturally intends to continue its fund collecting activities to support hospital projects.
